About the Foundation
The International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading Foundation (ISTAT Foundation) was founded in 1994 to support individuals and institutions that promote the advancement of commercial aviation and humanitarianism.

Celebrating Three Decades of Positive Impact
This year, the ISTAT Foundation is proud to celebrate 30 years of shaping the commercial aviation industry. Since 1994, the ISTAT Foundation has been a driving force in commercial aviation, investing US$13.7 million and achieving milestones such as supporting 1,000+ aviation students, aiding 100+ global nonprofit organizations, and initiating impactful programs. In the coming weeks and months, the ISTAT Foundation will be recognizing its many leaders, supporters and beneficiaries, as well as announcing a campaign to ensures its continued legacy of positive influence in aviation.
Funding for programs is provided by annual grants from ISTAT and contributions from individuals and companies. The ISTAT Foundation Board of Trustees, a separate entity from the ISTAT Board of Directors, manages fundraising and programming that meets the Foundation's objectives.
